On December 8th, 2021, the Special Commission for Prejudice against the PARLACEN deputy, Norman Quijano — former San Salvador’s mayor —, opened boxes with evidence sent by the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Fifth Investigating Court. The contents were audio and video statements by Norman Quijano, a witness under the alias of “Noé” and the entire judicial file.
The prosecution party has asked to desist from the evidence that contains the agreements between the Prosecutor General’s Office and the witness Noé, considering them unnecessary in the process.
The evidence is within a 28-minute video that shows Norman Quijano and Ernesto Angulo in a meeting with other people. And — who, according to a prosecutor’s statement — are gang members.
Deputies detailed that the file is the original consigned in the file and of which there is a certification from the Fifth Investigating Court.
