El Salvador presented its approach to technological modernization and artificial intelligence at the international event “Seizing the Super Intelligence Opportunity,” where Salvadoran representatives shared the country’s vision and recent progress in the emerging technology landscape.
Milena Mayorga said she participated in the event alongside Vice Minister Adriana Mira, Stacy Herbert and Max Keiser, representing El Salvador under a delegation appointed by President Nayib Bukele. The participation placed the country’s technology strategy within a broader international discussion on the opportunities associated with increasingly advanced artificial intelligence.
Mayorga expressed appreciation to EXIM Bank and Google for recognizing El Salvador’s efforts and for providing a platform to showcase its approach to technological development. Her remarks emphasized the government’s view that public institutions must evolve alongside technological advances.
El Salvador has increasingly incorporated artificial intelligence into public-sector initiatives. Recent reporting has highlighted applications involving areas such as healthcare and education, as well as the country’s broader efforts to establish a policy framework for AI.
