Los Chorros Recreational Park in El Salvador will reopen to the public under its regular operating conditions starting August 30, restoring access to one of the country’s popular recreational destinations.
The reopening follows the completion of recent infrastructure and slope-related work in the Los Chorros area. Authorities confirmed that the park will be available to visitors as normal, allowing families and tourists to once again enjoy its natural surroundings and recreational facilities.
The return to regular operations also comes as traffic has been restored along the Los Chorros section of the Pan-American Highway, strengthening connectivity to and from western El Salvador.
The reopening of Los Chorros Recreational Park marks another step toward the normalization of activities in the area while infrastructure improvements continue to support safer mobility and greater access to El Salvador’s tourism and recreation sites.
