Former Trump Adviser Michael Jensen and Ambassador Milena Mayorga Highlight U.S.-El Salvador Security Cooperation

Milena Mayorga publicly recognized the diplomatic and security cooperation developed alongside Michael Jensen, Special Assistant to former U.S. President Donald Trump and Senior Director for the Western Hemisphere at the National Security Council.

In a public message, Mayorga expressed gratitude for the joint work carried out to strengthen regional security and promote cooperation across the Western Hemisphere. She also thanked Jensen for his friendship and wished him success in his future endeavors.

The statement reflects the close diplomatic dialogue maintained between El Salvador and U.S. officials on issues related to security, regional stability, and bilateral relations. Over recent years, El Salvador has expanded international cooperation efforts focused on combating transnational crime and strengthening strategic alliances.

Mayorga’s remarks also underscore the importance the Salvadoran government places on maintaining strong ties with U.S. institutions and policymakers as part of broader efforts to reinforce diplomatic and security collaboration.

The relationship between El Salvador and the United States has remained a key pillar in discussions involving migration, investment, regional development, and public security initiatives under the administration of Nayib Bukele.
