El Salvador’s Centro Histórico has taken on a new global identity as the world capital of Bitcoin, highlighted by an artistic tribute in the heart of San Salvador. At Gerardo Barrios Plaza, Salvadoran artists have unveiled a striking mural featuring influential leaders of the international Bitcoin movement.
The artwork includes the portraits of President Nayib Bukele, Lina Seiche, Stacy Herbert, and Max Keiser—figures recognized worldwide for their leadership, advocacy, and contributions to the evolution of Bitcoin.
Created by national artists, the mural celebrates the country’s cultural and technological transformation, symbolizing El Salvador’s emergence as a global reference point for Bitcoin innovation and community engagement.
With this initiative, the Historic Center not only reinforces its role as a revitalized cultural hub but also strengthens its position as a landmark for visitors and Bitcoin enthusiasts from around the world searching for “El Salvador Bitcoin news” and “Bitcoin innovations in Latin America.”
