El Salvador has taken another strategic step to boost its coffee exports in Asia through the use of artificial intelligence. The Ambassador of El Salvador in Singapore, concurrent for Thailand and Indonesia, Jaime López Badía, announced a new alliance with Singapore-based company ProfilePrint, which specializes in AI and advanced spectroscopy technologies.
According to López Badía, the agreement will allow Salvadoran coffee to be digitally profiled without the need to send physical samples abroad. “This partnership will position our coffee in Asia, giving us access to the region’s buyer network, while reducing costs and carbon footprint,” he said.
With this initiative, El Salvador becomes the first country to obtain its own dedicated space on the ProfilePrint platform, positioning its coffee more competitively in high-value Asian markets.
