El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele has responded to explosive comments made by Hunter Biden, son of U.S. President Joe Biden, during a recent interview on the YouTube program Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan. In the video, Hunter Biden made vulgar threats and suggested military intervention in El Salvador if the country refused to cooperate with U.S. deportation demands.
“If I became president… I would pick up the phone and call the fucking president of El Salvador and say: you are either fucking sending them back or I’m gonna fucking invade,” said Hunter Biden, calling it a “fucking crime” and referring to President Bukele as a “fucking dictator thug.”
In response, President Bukele took to X (formerly Twitter) to reply with irony: “Is Hunter Biden sniffing powdered milk?”
The video also shows Hunter Biden openly discussing his history of substance abuse, including crack cocaine and heavy alcohol use, just moments before making the aggressive remarks.
The exchange has sparked sharp criticism online, raising concerns over the tone of political discourse and the potential implications of such statements on international relations.
