El Salvador reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening El Salvador’s insurance sector during the 55th anniversary celebration of the Salvadoran Association of Insurance Companies (ASES). The event was attended by Tourism Minister Morena Valdez and Superintendent of the Financial System Evelyn Gracias.
The celebration highlighted the evolution of the insurance industry in El Salvador, emphasizing its contributions to national stability and the ongoing efforts to promote a culture of financial preparedness and security among the population.
The government’s presence at the event underscores its vision of inclusive development, where collaboration between the public and private sectors plays a crucial role in transforming the country.
“The insurance sector has been and continues to be a strategic ally for the nation’s development. Its contribution not only protects assets, but also builds trust, encourages investment, supports productive sector resilience, and promotes financial inclusion. It is an essential component in building a stronger and more prepared El Salvador,” said Evelyn Gracias, head of the Financial System Superintendency.
