In a collaborative effort to strengthen the country’s surf culture and boost local opportunities, Surf City El Salvador has partnered with the International Surfing Association (ISA) to launch an intensive Surf Instructor Certification Program. This initiative is equipping 40 local surfers with essential skills in coaching, water safety, English proficiency, and sustainable tourism.
The program aims to enhance professional opportunities for surfers while fostering sustainable tourism development in El Salvador’s renowned surf destinations. By receiving ISA certification, participants will gain the necessary qualifications to work as surf instructors, further positioning the country as a world-class surfing destination.
“This initiative not only empowers local surfers but also strengthens the overall surf industry, creating more opportunities for the community to thrive,” the ISA stated.
