El Salvador Strengthens Global Education Ties with Scholarships in Europe and Japan.

The Salvadoran Agency for International Cooperation (ESCO) has opened applications for four prestigious scholarship programs, providing Salvadorans with opportunities to pursue higher education in Europe and Japan.

One of the programs, supported by Formato Educativo Business School of Spain, offers a fully funded virtual master’s degree for Salvadorans working in public and private entities. The application deadline is March 11, 2024.

Japan is also offering a specialization in disaster management, designed for engineers, technicians, or researchers specializing in river management or water-related disasters. This is a fully funded, in-person program, requiring applicants to have a university degree and English proficiency. The deadline for this scholarship is May 14, 2024.

Additionally, Spain’s Carolina Foundation provides postgraduate study opportunities through full or partial scholarships for in-person programs. Requirements vary by program, and applications are due by March 22, 2024.

For those looking to study in Europe, Erasmus+ is offering fully funded master’s degree programs to students with a university degree and English fluency. This in-person scholarship has a later deadline of March 30, 2025.

These opportunities reaffirm ESCO’s commitment to expanding access to international education for Salvadorans, fostering professional growth, and strengthening the country’s global academic ties.
