Tourism in El Salvador: A Growing Opportunity, Says Nuria Vilanova.

Nuria Vilanova, President of the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI), has praised the transformation of El Salvador’s tourism sector, noting the country’s potential to become a leading tourist destination in the region. Speaking recently about her visit to the country, Vilanova emphasized the excitement and optimism she witnessed among locals, who feel increasingly safe and eager to welcome visitors.

“There is a great opportunity for tourism in El Salvador. It’s a small country, but it’s diverse enough,” said Vilanova, highlighting the variety of destinations and experiences the country offers.

President Nayib Bukele, who remains focused on fostering the nation’s economic growth, reaffirmed his commitment to attracting investment, particularly in sectors like tourism. In a meeting with CEAPI board members on Monday, Bukele underscored the importance of such investments in driving prosperity and improving the quality of life for Salvadorans.

CEAPI, one of the most influential business organizations in Ibero-America, spans industries such as infrastructure, technology, tourism, and finance, making it a key partner in El Salvador’s ongoing development efforts.
