The objective of the visit was to gain insights into the various projects undertaken by the Salvadoran government to propel the growth of children, youth, and the general populace.

On the evening of Monday, March 4, Carlos Marroquín, the Director of Social Fabric Reconstruction, accompanied by Mayor Juan José Yúnez, embarked on a tour of the facilities at the National Library of El Salvador (BINAES). The purpose was to familiarize themselves with the diverse initiatives aimed at advancing the development of the nation’s youth.

During the tour, Carlos Marroquín emphasized the government’s focus on creating comprehensive spaces for education and training. He reiterated that BINAES stands as a cornerstone in the country’s transformation.

It’s noteworthy that the guide leading the tour highlighted BINAES’ various sections dedicated to early childhood, adolescence, technology, and innovation. This modern knowledge center, inaugurated on November 14, 2023, by President Nayib Bukele, boasts seven levels, each tailored to provide specialized attention with unique characteristics and functions.

Later in the day, Carlos Marroquín and Juan José Yúnez explored the CUBO de Panchimalco, further immersing themselves in the Salvadoran government’s commitment to innovative projects.
