El Salvador’s Bitcoin Reserve Hits $768 Million as BTC Outperforms Amazon

El Salvador’s Bitcoin (BTC) reserve has reached a new all-time high of $769.6 million, reflecting a strong rise in the price of the digital currency. The Central American nation has accumulated 6,267 BTC, with the total value of these holdings increasing significantly in recent days.

According to President Nayib Bukele, unrealized gains now total $468.3 million, as the government invested $300.5 million in Bitcoin but has yet to sell any units. Over the past 24 hours, Bitcoin rose 2.61% to $122,836, bringing its weekly gains to 5.59%.

This bullish momentum is driven by several key factors: a confirmed technical breakout above $121,000, sustained inflows into Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States, and a growing risk appetite in financial markets, despite capital movement toward alternative cryptocurrencies.

El Salvador’s Bitcoin reserve maintains its value above $768 million, supported by the rise in the digital currency’s price, which this week established itself as the sixth most valuable asset in the world, surpassing Amazon in market capitalization.

El Salvador continues to position itself as a pioneer in cryptocurrency adoption, maintaining a robust Bitcoin reserve strategy while capitalizing on global market trends.
