El Salvador Sees 100% Reduction in Gang Activity, Analyst Confirms.

Intelligence, security, and counterterrorism analyst Arturo Grandon stated in a recent interview on Entrevista AM that gang-related activity in El Salvador has dropped by 100%. He clarified that the few homicides currently recorded are mainly due to family disputes or alcohol-related issues.

Grandon credited the significant improvement in public safety to the leadership of President Nayib Bukele, emphasizing that the country is effectively managing its security challenges. He affirmed that Salvadorans have placed strong trust in the National Civil Police (@PNCSV) and the Armed Forces (@FUERZARMADASV), which have become exemplary models for other governments in the region.

This security progress marks a critical step forward for El Salvador’s efforts to maintain public safety and stability, reinforcing its commitment to protecting citizens and fostering economic growth.
