The Government of El Salvador, under President Nayib Bukele, continues to invest in the country’s youth by expanding academic and technical opportunities. This week, the Dirección de Integración signed an agreement with Open English to offer English language scholarships to 1,000 students currently enrolled in the #ContinuidadAcadémicaYTécnica program.
“This is a step toward building a generation of Salvadorans who are prepared to face global challenges,” said Alejandro Gutman, president ad honorem of the Dirección de Integración, who led the event attended by over 1,000 scholarship recipients.
The new partnership allows students to learn English while pursuing their university degrees, equipping them with a critical skill for the modern workforce. This effort is part of a broader strategy by the Bukele administration to enhance educational and employment prospects for young people across the country.
