El Salvador Gains Recognition as a Safe and Free Nation Under President Bukele’s Leadership.

El Salvador’s improved security environment, a result of President Nayib Bukele’s policies, has restored peace to Salvadoran households and created conditions for national development. This transformation is now recognized and praised internationally.

Nuria Vilanova, President of the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI), highlighted the significant changes the country has undergone under Bukele’s administration. She emphasized that Salvadorans now enjoy true freedom and peace, making the nation more attractive for both local and foreign investment.

“We presented a recognition to President Bukele because, in our view, freedom means knowing that you and your loved ones will return home safely. In this sense, El Salvador today is a free country,” Vilanova stated during a meeting between top Ibero-American business leaders and the Salvadoran president.

She added that the current government is now focusing on economic growth, which she described as another form of freedom. By prioritizing initiatives that enhance the livelihoods of Salvadorans, the administration is empowering families to achieve financial stability through their own efforts.

“El Salvador needs visitors to witness the transformation firsthand. No matter how much people tell you about it, you won’t fully grasp the depth of change until you experience it yourself. This is just the first of many visits to come,” Vilanova remarked.

A delegation of 60 business leaders from various countries is currently in El Salvador, all eager to invest in the country. According to Vilanova, the level of trust and legal certainty under Bukele’s leadership is remarkably high.

Thanks to the government’s efforts, El Salvador is now firmly on the global map. International investors increasingly recognize the nation’s legal security, transparency, and economic opportunities as key factors for investing within its borders.
