The Government of El Salvador continues to enhance its public management model with strategic partnerships aimed at developing human talent in the public sector. In a key meeting held in Guatemala City, Vice President Félix Ulloa Jr., in his role as Rector of the Escuela Superior de Innovación en la Administración Pública (ESIAP), met with María Isabel Nájera, President of the Board of Directors of Panamerican Business School, and her technical team to discuss future collaborations.
Vice President Ulloa emphasized the significance of this partnership, which reflects the Salvadoran Government’s commitment to investing in human talent as a critical driver of national development. “Partnerships like this strengthen our vision for the country,” Ulloa remarked, reiterating President Nayib Bukele’s principle that «public services must be equal to or better than private services» to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Education, Ulloa noted, is fundamental for the country’s growth and for addressing the challenges posed by the fourth industrial revolution. He highlighted El Salvador’s initiatives in the digital economy, including the use of Bitcoin as legal tender, the Law on the Issuance of Digital Assets, and various technological literacy programs for children and youth.
The meeting also explored collaborative initiatives between ESIAP and Panamerican Business School, such as specialized training programs and scholarships in emerging fields like blockchain, cybersecurity, and e-government. These efforts were further supported by Claudia de Larin, Executive Director of ESIAP, and Miguel Carrillo, Rector of Panamerican University of Florida. Panamerican Business School, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024, has transformed the careers of over 350,000 professionals globally and is recognized by FORBES as one of the top ten most innovative business schools in Central America.
El Salvador’s Ambassador to Guatemala, Hugo Rodríguez Cardoza, also participated in the meeting, underscoring the country’s dedication to building stronger, more innovative institutions to face future challenges. This strategic alliance marks another step in El Salvador’s ongoing commitment to modernizing public management and fostering sustainable development.
