Nayib Bukele Tops Global Leader Approval Rankings.

President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador has been recognized as the world’s highest-rated leader, achieving an impressive 93% approval rating. This distinction comes from the latest Mitofsky Ranking, which evaluates the popularity and effectiveness of leaders around the globe.

Bukele’s high approval rating places him ahead of several other prominent world leaders. According to the ranking, Russian President Vladimir Putin holds the second spot with a 77% approval rating, while Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is third with a 70% approval rating. Bukele’s administration has consistently garnered widespread support, bolstering his position as a prominent figure on the international stage.

The Mitofsky Ranking also highlights leaders from various continents who have garnered approval ratings above 50%. In the Americas, President Luis Abinader of the Dominican Republic ranks fourth with a 66% approval rating, followed closely by Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador with 64%. Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa and Guatemalan President Bernardo Arévalo have approval ratings of 56% and 54%, respectively, placing them sixth and seventh on the list. Costa Rican President Rodrigo Chaves Robles ranks eighth with a 53% approval rating.

European leaders also feature prominently in the rankings, with Swiss President Viola Amherd securing a 52% approval rating and ranking ninth overall. Argentine President Javier Milei matches this rating, sharing the ninth spot. Hong Kong’s Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu rounds out the top ten with a 51% approval rating.

This year’s Mitofsky Ranking underscores the diverse array of leadership styles and the varying degrees of public support for leaders across different regions. President Bukele’s leadership style and policies have clearly resonated with the Salvadoran populace, earning him the top spot in the global approval rankings.
