El Salvador actively participated in the recent «Latin America Workshop» held in Brussels, with the aim of showcasing the country’s tourist destinations and strengthening commercial diplomacy between Belgium and El Salvador. The event, which was organized by Air Europe, provided a platform for Latin American countries to present their travel destinations to a diverse group of travel agencies and media representatives.
The Salvadoran diplomatic and consular representation took advantage of this opportunity to highlight El Salvador as a significant tourist destination within Latin America. The event is designed to introduce countries with lesser-known tourism profiles on the global and particularly European stage, a category El Salvador falls into.
At the El Salvador stand, representatives showcased the country’s rich tourism potential, emphasizing its appeal as a prime travel destination in the Latin American region. Through the contacts established at the workshop, plans are underway to organize a dedicated tourism event exclusively for El Salvador in the near future.
The workshop featured a business roundtable where each country presented their tourist attractions. Participants also had the chance to explore various stands representing different nations.
The event concluded with a tasting session of representative cuisines from the participating countries, offering attendees a flavorful experience of Latin America’s diverse culinary heritage.
