The Honduran Congress presented a motion to honor President Nayib Bukele for his constant support of the Honduran people during the ETA and IOTA storms, as well as the donation of anti-COVID-19 vaccines.

The proposal was supported by the deputy of the LIBRE party, Sergi Castellanos.

“In 2020 we presented a bill to the national congress to decorate President Nayib Bukele in recognition of a grateful people for all the solidarity given” — said the parliamentarian.

Likewise, Castellanos lamented that the previous congress did not give due importance to said initiative, since the country and the people never mattered to them. “He behaved better than the government that was on duty,” he added.
